Unknowingly, perhaps, Nick Saban has been doing a pretty good impersonation this summer of Monty Hall on the old Let's Make a Deal, and making Alabama fans wonder if the starting quarterback for this season might be behind Door No. 1, Door No. 2, or Door No. 3. Saban has dealt with QB battles in the past, but most of those, such as choosing between Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts a few years ago, involve established entities. That's not the case this summer, especially word got out in the spring that the Saban wasn't all that pleased with what he saw from holdovers Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson, and was ready to look at what was available from the transfer portal for another option (which ended up being Notre Dame's Tyler Buchner)...
