2023-24 NBA prop picks tonight: Jrue Holiday featured in three best bets for Friday night's slate

NBA prop expert Mike Barner shares his top three plays for Friday night's NBA action.

We're three days into the NBA season, but have only had one night with a hefty slate of games. That all changes Friday with 11 games on the schedule. There will be plenty of exciting matchups, including the new-look Celtics hosting the Heat in a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals.

With there being so many games, it also means we have some injuries to take into consideration for player props. Some of the notable players who have already been ruled out include Draymond Green (ankle), Jarrett Allen (ankle) and Nic Claxton (ankle). The Claxton injury is an interesting one because the Nets don't have great depth behind him at center. Could Ben Simmons get some minutes at the five as the Nets go small?

Now that we have the downer that is the injury report out of the way, let's get to some of the wagering options that stand out amongst the crowd as appealing options, including one involving Celtics guard Jrue Holiday.
