Manchester United will be trying to build on a comeback season when the 2023-24 English Premier League campaign kicks off in August. The Red Devils are the most storied franchise in the Premier League with 67 trophies in cup and European competitions, but the most recent of their 20 league titles came in 2012-13. Their 2021-22 finish was their worst in more than 30 years, but they bounced back by finishing third last season. 

Manager Erik ten Hag seems to have righted the ship, and United even won their first trophy since 2017 when they claimed the League Cup title with a 2-0 victory against Newcastle. Now they come in as the fourth choice to win that elusive title, but there is still work to do -- and players to sign -- so the Red Devils will enter the season with high hopes.

Caesars Sportsbook lists Manchester City as -175 favorites in the 2023-24 EPL futures. United are priced at +1000, behind 2022-23 runners-up Arsenal (+800) and Liverpool (+850), the runners-up in 2021-22 who finished fifth last year. The only other teams priced shorter than 50-1 are Chelsea (+1600) and Newcastle (+1800).

The 2023-24 English Premier League season kicks off Aug. 11 with Manchester City visiting newly-promoted Burnley in the Friday opener. United also get a prime game in Matchweek 1, as they host West Ham on Monday, Aug. 14.
