2022 World Cup Senegal vs. Netherlands odds, picks, predictions: Soccer insider reveals best bets for Monday's match

Brandt Sutton, who's on a blistering 148-112-1 run over his last 261 soccer picks this year, has locked in his pick for the Group A match of the 2022 World Cup between Senegal and Netherlands on Monday

The Netherlands are back in the world's signature football event and kick off their 2022 World Cup on Monday with a tough match against Senegal in Al Thumama, Qatar. The Dutch missed out on the 2018 World Cup but come in as the -225 favorite to win Group A at Caesars Sportsbook. Senegal are the reigning Africa Cup of Nations champions and entered the tournament as the +450 second choice to win the group. Ecuador (+550) and Qatar (+1400) open play in Group A on Sunday.

Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. ET on Monday at Al Thumama Stadium. The Dutch are the -145 favorite in the latest Senegal vs. Netherlands odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with Senegal the +470 underdog. A draw is priced at +240, and the over/under for total goals is 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you lock in your Netherlands vs. Senegal picks or World Cup 2022 predictions, you need to see what SportsLine soccer insider Brandt Sutton has to say.

Sutton, a former collegiate soccer player, has been SportsLine's top soccer editor for more than five years. He has followed soccer closely for much longer and factors in managerial tactics, projected lineups and past performances to make the most informed decisions possible, keeping his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.

Sutton also has been on a roll with his best bets, going 151-114-1 over his last 266 soccer picks in 2022, returning more than $2,300 for $100 bettors!

Sutton knows the Dutch have never failed to advance from the group stage in 10 tries and have lost in the final three times. They also are on a 15-game unbeaten run (11-4-0). The Dutch are strong on both ends, with captain Virgil Van Dijk of Liverpool locking things down in the back. Memphis Depay, who has 42 goals in 81 international matches, will miss at least the first game, but Cody Gakpo and Steven Bergwijn also can find the back of the net. Gakpo has nine goals this season with PSV, and Bergwijn has eight with Ajax.

Sutton also has taken into account that Senegal will be without star Sadio Mane but still have plenty of talent. They defeated Egypt in February to win the Africa Cup of Nations, then beat the same team in a  qualifying playoff to earn their spot. Ismaila Sarr and Famara Diedhiou both have 10 international goals, and Senegal have posted six clean sheets in their last eight competitive matches. Edouard Mendy lost his No. 1 spot with Chelsea but remains a top-tier goalkeeper, and captain Kalidou Koulibaly plays physical defense.

Sutton has taken an in-depth look at Netherlands vs. Senegal, and he has locked in a CONFIDENT best bet while offering a full breakdown of this Group A match at the 2022 World Cup. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his pick and analysis before making any selections of your own.
