2022 NFL Week 16 props, predictions: Another huge day for Vikings WR Justin Jefferson, plus more top picks from proven NFL props expert

SportsLine expert Alex Selesnick (aka PropStarz), who is an impressive 35-24 on his NFL prop plays in this column, has revealed his top prop picks for NFL Week 16

Wild comebacks and close games ruled in Week 15, and now brutal weather will be added to the mix for NFL Week 16, and that could give bettors pause. It might just be a great week to make the foray into NFL props. But will the weather mean you should be backing the running backs and fading the quarterbacks? Or can a quarterback like Buffalo's Josh Allen or Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes still put up strong numbers?

There are 14 games on the weekend NFL Week 16 slate, with 11 of them on Saturday. The Bills take on the Bears in severe wind and cold in Chicago at 1 p.m. ET. The over/under on Allen's passing yards is listed at 222.5 at Caesars Sportsbook, but he also can do some damage in the run game and has a rushing total set at 48.5. The Chiefs host Seattle at the same time in slightly better conditions, and the total for Mahomes' passing yards is 295.5.

There are dozens more NFL props available on this game and every other in NFL Week 16, and you can find excellent value on some of them. Before you make any 2022 NFL prop picks or NFL Week 16 bets, be sure you check out the top NFL picks and predictions from NFL props expert Alex Selesnick.

After combing through the hundreds of available NFL player prop odds, PropStarz has several value picks he expects to pay off in NFL Week 16. One play the props expert is backing is Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson Over 89.5 Receiving Yards (-115). PropStarz says this is an auto-bet for him if the number is under 100 yards. The superstar is chasing an NFL record and averages 115 yards per game.
