After a short break, the PGA Tour gets right back to the grind on Thursday when the 2022-23 season tees off with the 2022 Fortinet Championship at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif. Max Homa edged Maverick McNealy by one stroke for his third career PGA Tour victory last year. The 22nd-ranked Homa went on to get his fourth victory in May, and he is one of the top names in the field. Fellow California natives Rickie Fowler, Sahith Theegala, and 2019 Fortinet winner Cameron Champ also are in the mix, and 2021 Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama is the highest-ranked player in the Fortinet 2022 field at No. 16.
