2022 FIFA World Cup Iran vs. USA odds, predictions: Picks and best bets for Tuesday's critical USMNT group finale from proven soccer expert

Soccer betting expert Jon "Buckets" Eimer, who went 20-12 on his World Cup qualifying picks for SportsLine, has locked in his selections for the Group B matchup between the Iran and the USMNT in Doha, Qatar

The U.S. Men's National Team have to win to advance on Tuesday when they take on Iran in their Group B finale at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Team USA pulled off an impressive 0-0 draw with England on Friday, but Iran's 2-0 victory against Wales the same day means they will advance along with the Three Lions with a draw. The Americans held a 1-0 lead on Wales but couldn't hold on, and now they face a must-win match.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. ET at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar. The Americans are -114 favorites on the money line (risk $114 to win $100) in the latest Iran vs. USA odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Iran are +310 underdogs, a draw is priced at +250, and the over/under for total goals scored is set at 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you make any USA vs. Iran picks or 2022 FIFA World Cup predictions, you MUST see what renowned soccer bettor Jon "Buckets" Eimer has to say.

Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, Eimer has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. He is an impressive 48-25-1 on his Premier League picks for SportsLine in 2022, for a profit of almost $1,800 for $100 bettors. He also went 20-12 on his World Cup Qualifying picks, for a return of almost $600.

Eimer knows the USMNT looked impressive throughout against England, the world's fifth-ranked team, and had some chances to win it. They had a 10-8 edge in shots but put just one on target. Still, the midfield of Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah and Tyler Adams was impressive in distributing the ball, and Christian Pulisic was in the middle of most of the action. Pulisic nearly got his 22nd international goal in Friday's match with the Three Lions but rocketed his shot off the crossbar.

The expert also has taken into account that Iran completely dominated against Wales, holding a 21-10 edge in shots despite just 38 percent possession. They put six on target and could have had more than the two they scored after the 97th minute. They have never been past the group stage in five tries at the World Cup and know they are in prime position. Both goals against Wales were scored by defenders, and Mehdi Taremi had both against England to give him 30 international goals.

Eimer has taken an in-depth look at the Iran vs. USA matchup and locked in his picks. He is taking the Under on the goal total and also offers his CONFIDENT best bets on one side of this FIFA World Cup match. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own!
