A near-miss at Cal last week should not have gotten anyone off of the anti-Miami scent. The Canes haven't won a game in six weeks (Dec. 15 vs. Presbyterian) and six of their last seven losses in ACC play have come by double-digit margins. Jim Larranaga might have wished he resigned sooner than he did, leaving such a bare cupboard for interim Bill Courtney. Aside from a recent scoring spree by sr. wing Matthew Cleland (57 points across the past two games), there is little to cheer about for Miami. Meanwhile, with wins in three of four, the Irish look like they could still salvage something from this season, especially with top scorer G Markus Burton (20.4 ppg) back in the fold. Play Notre Dame
