We're not used to talking about the Tommies as a Summit contender, but at 10-5 might reconsider. St Thomas has gone the D-III route with transfers and G Miles Barnstable (leading scorer at 13.3 ppg) has been a nice reward, and John Tauer's bench effectively goes 10 deep. But the best wins are only against Montana and Bowling Green, which sits sub-.500 entering MAC play. It's NDSU that looks the team to beat in the Summit, roaring with eight straight wins, scoring 91 points or better in the last three. David Richman has what looks to be the best 1-2 punch in the Summit with D-II transfer F Jacksen Moni (18.5 ppg) & vet G Jacari White (16.5 ppg). Play North Dakota State
