There has been an alert issued by Big Sky sources on Weber State...though it's more like an S-O-S after the Wildcats were overwhelmed by what appears to be a modest Oregon State on Friday night in Corvallis. The concern is replacing do-everything F Dillon Jones (21 ppg), who was so good that he was drafted in the NBA first round. More bad news for the Cats is that Nevada looks a good deal better than Oregon State, and Steve Alford appears to have filled some perimeter gaps nicely from the portal, as 6-7 Cal Poly transfer wing Kobe Sanders is flourishing now that he's free from the double-teams he routinely encountered in the Big West, scoring at a 23.5 pg clip.
