Nevada's highest gear is "beat the brakes off you" and while I'm not expecting the same 30-point result as the first meeting between these teams I do think the Wolf Pack win by double digits. SJSU was, after all, responsible for handing Nevada an upset loss in the conference tournament last year that bounced them down to the play-in games in Dayton. Take Nevada, which has been playing solid ball throughout February, to maintain the standard on the road.

On occasions in recent years, San Jose has caused problems for Nevada, especially in games at the Event Center. Or, last season, in the first round of the MW Tourney when the Spartans scored a shocking OT upset. But in the other three meetings since last season, including Feb. 2 at Reno, the Wolf Pack has rolled, the latest a 90-60 mauling at the start of this month when the game was done by halftime and Nevada ahead, 49-24. That began a stretch of five wins and covers in six for the Pack, which got surprising contributions from F Tre Coleman (20 points) when rolling past Wyo at midweek.
