Iowa State's T.J. Otzelberger has really learned how to teach defense. His first two teams at Iowa State were ranked in the top 10 and this years team has the experience to be just as good. VCU under first year head coach Ryan Odom has shown the same defense they played under Mike Rhoades, Will Wade and Shaka Smart. Odom’s Southern Utah teams were solid on offense as well. VCU’s first four games went under but the last two games went well under the total. They beat Seattle 60-56, under 136, and beat Radford 73-50, under 136.5. This is the first big test for both teams.
