Warriors vs. Suns Tuesday NBA injury report, spread, odds: Historic early-season matchup as Phoenix looks to complete unbeaten November

Golden State visits Phoenix on Tuesday night with the teams having combined for a 35-5 record.

It's a bit difficult to get too excited about an NBA game in November, but it's must-see TV on Tuesday night in the Association as the Golden State Warriors bring an NBA-best 18-2 record along with a seven-game winning streak to the desert to face the Phoenix Suns, who are 17-3 and on a 16-game winning streak. The Suns opened as 2.5-point favorites at Caesars Sportsbook. Click here for model picks.

Tuesday will mark the first time in NBA history that two teams from the same division with winning percentages of at least .850 will play each other after 20 games of the season.

What more do these teams have to do to become the NBA title favorites? The Brooklyn Nets continue to hold that role at Caesars, priced at +260. Golden State is next at +600 – and it hasn't even had Klay Thompson or James Wiseman available for a game yet – and Phoenix a sixth-favorite at +1300. The Warriors have overtaken the Lakers as West favorites, with Golden State +300, the Lakers +380 and Phoenix +525.

The Warriors are unbeaten this season when facing teams with a winning record – their two losses were to Memphis and Charlotte, who both had .500 records entering that game.

The Suns are 7-1 against teams with a winning record. Their 16-game winning streak is one shy of the franchise record of 17 in a row during the 2006-07 season. Phoenix guard Chris Paul looks for the third 17-game winning streak of his career. He had one with Houston in 2018 and one with the LA Clippers in 2012. Phoenix's three losses came in the first four games of the season to Denver, Portland and Sacramento.

When the Suns shoot at least 50 percent from the field this season, they are 8-0. Golden State is the only team this season to score at least 100 points in every game. At 28.6 ppg, Steph Curry is tied for the league scoring lead with Kevin Durant.

Injury-wise, the Suns remain without reserve big man Frank Kaminsky, who averages 10.6 points and 4.6 rebounds. Golden State is without Andre Iguodala and Damion Lee in addition to Thompson and Wiseman, who both should debut by Christmas. Draymond Green took a hard fall in Sunday's win over the Clippers but is expected to play.

Phoenix won last year's regular season series, 2-1, its first season series win vs. Golden State since a 4-0 sweep in 2010-11.
