Today's top picks: Why the Astros will beat the Braves and more World Series and college football expert bets for Saturday, Oct. 30

The SportsLine crew shares its expert bets for Saturday, Oct. 30, on The Early Edge podcast

Allan Bell is joined by expert sports bettors Mike McClure, Micah Roberts, Justin Perri and Matt Snyder on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the World Series and college football for Saturday, Oct. 30.

McClure starts things off with two picks from the Michigan-Michigan State game (noon ET): Under 10.5 in the first quarter and Under 24.5 in the first half. "Both of these two teams want to do the same thing: They want to establish the run," he says. "They are very content playing at a slow tempo."

Roberts also has a pick from the Michigan-Michigan State game: Spartans (+4) to cover. "I think Kenneth Walker is going to have a big game," he says. He adds, "They've gone 11-2 against the spread in the last 13 against Michigan."

Roberts also likes Texas (+120) to beat Baylor (noon ET). "I think the wrong team is favored," he says. He adds, "[The Longhorns] are going to treat Baylor today the way they treated Rice and Texas Tech. I think it's going to be just a blowout."

Both Snyder and Perri are taking the Astros (-105) to beat the Braves in Game 4 of the World Series (8:09 p.m. ET). "I feel like the Astros offense is a sleeping giant," Snyder says. Perri adds, "The Braves used some of their best arms yesterday."

Perri closes out The Early Edge with Over 8.5 runs in Game 4 of the World Series. "The Braves should be get some runs too," he says.
