Just because Golden State must win is no reason the line should be this high. After four games LeBron & Co. have proven they are just as good as the Warriors and quite possibly a point better. The crowd will not intimidate Los Angeles or the officials so the most I could give Golden State is three points. I took the points with the Lakers.
Golden State couldn’t close out Game 4 thanks to an unreal performance by the Lakers' Lonnie Walker in the fourth quarter. They have shot much better at home from 3 than on the road. That’s the difference. Look for a Golden State win to send the series back to Los Angeles.
Klay Thompson only scored nine points over 41 minutes in Game 4. Over the two games in Los Angeles, he shot 8-for-25 from the field. As bad as he was in those two games, this game being at home for the Warriors provides him with a significant boost. He scored at least 25 points in both of the first two home games in this series, despite only playing 31 minutes in the blowout win in Game 2. During the regular season, he averaged 24.4 points per game at home, compared to just 19.2 per game at home. With the Warriors looking to force a Game 6, look for Thompson to have a big night in the scoring column.
