The 2024 Formula 1 schedule will continue on Saturday with the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The green flag is scheduled to drop at noon ET. Max Verstappen followed up a 19-win, championship season in 2023 by dominating the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix last week to begin the new F1 season. Verstappen bested Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio Perez by 22.457 seconds to capture his 55th career F1 victory and his eighth grand prix win in a row.

Verstappen is the -450 favorite (risk $450 to win $100) in the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix odds and Perez is second on the board at +900. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc is next at +1400, while teammate Carlos Sainz Jr. is +2500 after his podium finish last week. McClaren's Lando Norris is +2200, while Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton is +2800 in this week's F1 odds.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a street track that will temporarily host the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix until a permanent motorsports facility is completed in Qiddiya. The 27-turn circuit measures at 3.836 miles and Hamilton set the lap record when he won the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021. Red Bull Racing went on to win the next two seasons, with Verstappen winning in 2022 and Perez winning in 2023. After originally being staged as the penultimate race of the season in 2021, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has been the second race of the season the last three years.

Now, the model has dialed in on the 2024 Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and just released its coveted picks and leaderboard projections. 

We can tell you the model is fading Lando Norris, even though he's one of the top favorites. The 24-year-old Englishman collected a career-high 205 points during the 2023 Formula 1 season and tied a career-high by finishing sixth in the standings. Norris has finished 10th, seventh and 17th in three career starts in Saudi Arabia  He's the fourth-favorite this week in Jeddah, but the model predicts he doesn't even sniff a podium.
