Bettors are expecting a high-scoring Super Bowl 57.

On Monday, we told you that the Madden NFL 23 official video game simulation projected Super Bowl 57 to be won 31-17 by the Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs. The SportsLine Projection Model leans Eagles by a score of 25-24. However, the exact final score prop at BetMGM that is easily taking the most betting action thus far is Eagles 37, Chiefs 34.

With so much money wagered, the action has shifted the 37-34 price at BetMGM from +25000 to +8000. There are five times as many bets on that exact score than on any other. DraftKings spokesman Stephen Miraglia told the Action Network that 37-34 in favor of the Eagles is the most popular exact score bet so far at that book as well.

This could be younger bettors simply reacting to a Twitter post over the weekend when a user named FearKyrie tweeted "Nah someone just leaked the Super Bowl script." The graphic resembled a screenshot of a Pro Football Reference wiki page with the Eagles prevailing 37-34 – Kansas City led 24-13 at the half. That account has since been suspended.

A 37-34 score would mark the third-highest scoring Super Bowl in history, behind Super Bowl 29 (75 total points) and Super Bowl 52 (74 points). The latter featured the Eagles, though few players from that championship roster remain on the current team.

That Kansas City scores exactly 34 points is +1900 and Philadelphia exactly 37 is +3000. No Super Bowl has finished with an exact score of 37-34. Neither team had a game with that score this season.

The two favored exact score results at +5000 are 27-24 in either direction. Either Kansas City or Philadelphia winning by 1-6 points at +310 is also favored. Exactly 3 points is +450. Both teams to score at least 30 points is +475 with no -900.

On the spread, just 31% of bets are on the Chiefs (at +1.5): "Currently, the Chiefs winning would be the best outcome for the sportsbook. That could change as a majority of action on the Super Bowl will come in this weekend," said Christian Cipollini, BetMGM Sports Trader.
