2022 Super Bowl odds: Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams surging after Week 3 win over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Caesars Sportsbook has updated its Super Bowl betting odds heading into Week 4 of the 2021 NFL schedule
The march towards Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles continues. After three weeks of the 2021 NFL season, a clear-cut group of Super Bowl 56 favorites has emerged.
Despite some early stumbles, the oddsmakers at Caesars Sportsbook still list the Kansas City Chiefs at +600 (risk $100 to win $500) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+650) as the top Super Bowl 56 contenders heading into Week 4 of the 2021 NFL regular season. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been stellar (as usual), but the Kansas City defense has been exposed as they've struggled to a 1-2 record to open the season. Tom Brady and the Buccaneers have looked every bit like a Super Bowl front-runner (for the most part), but took a pretty good beating at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
Speaking of the Rams, new quarterback Matthew Stafford is playing MVP-caliber football, and has his team surging in the latest odds to win Super Bowl 56. The Rams have now joined the Chiefs and Buccaneers in the exclusive group of teams with single-digit payouts to win Super Bowl LVI. Could Stafford prove to be the final piece of the puzzle for Sean McVay, Aaron Donald, and the rest of the organization? Only time will tell.
Other teams generating some championship buzz early in the season include the Buffalo Bills (+1000), who have a bona fide MVP candidate in Josh Allen; the Green Bay Packers (+1300), who will always be a threat with Aaron Rodgers at the helm; the Baltimore Ravens (+1400), who are incredibly tough to beat when Lamar Jackson is playing well; and the Cleveland Browns (+1400), who have one of the most complete rosters in the NFL.
