Today's picks: Steph Curry's Warriors cover in New York vs. Knicks, plus college basketball picks for Tuesday

Justin talks about the excitement around Stephen Curry potentially breaking the 3-point record at Madison Square Garden tonight. Allie covers the Avalanche goalie situation and how it could affect the team in the short-term before diving into how COVID issues are affecting the NHL. Mike breaks down a huge performance in the NBA from Monday to wrap up the storylines segment.

Allie kicks off the picks segment by giving out her top NHL pick of the day, backing Hurricanes-Wild (8 p.m. ET) to go Over 6 goals. However, the game has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues, voiding all tickets on the game.

Mike then delivers his best NBA pick of the day, backing the Warriors -3 against the Knicks (7:30 p.m. ET). "The Warriors had some travel issues last night ... However, the Knicks are also not in an ideal situation dealing with a COVID outbreak," Mike says. "This is going to be a tough game for both teams, but with Curry and the electric atmosphere there, I like the Warriors to cover."

Justin then shares a quartet of college basketball picks, beginning with East Tennessee State -12.5 against North Carolina A&T (7 p.m. ET). He wouldn't play it any higher than that number, however. Next up is LSU -31.5 against Northwestern State (7 p.m. ET), even though Justin is going against his model with the play. Justin's third pick is Jacksonville +1.5 at Southern Miss (8 p.m. ET), but just as the show started Jacksonville flipped to the favorites, so line value on that matchup is likely gone. Finally, Justin is going with Minnesota -16 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (8 p.m. ET), as the latter is getting too much love against what's been an excellent team this year.
