2021 British Open Dustin Johnson odds to win, Suns-Bucks NBA Finals Game 4 parlay special pays $2800
William Hill Sportsbook has a special British Open/NBA Finals Game 4 parlay available.
Game 4 of the 2021 NBA Finals is tonight with a 9 p.m. Eastern tip from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee as the Bucks are 4-point favorites at William Hill Sportsbook to even the series at 2-2 vs. the Phoenix Suns. Around two hours after that game finishes, the 2021 British Open golf tournament will tee off from Royal St. George's in England, and William Hill Sportsbook offers a special parlay on Game 4 and Dustin Johnson in the Open Championship.
The parlay is the Bucks winning, and the home team is 3-0 in this series – the spread doesn't matter for the purposes of this parlay – and Johnson winning his first Claret Jug, so obviously the parlay result wouldn't be known until Sunday (unless DJ misses the cut). It's a yes-only prop at +2800 with a maximum bet of $100, meaning that $100 wager would return $2800.
Priced on his own to win the British Open, Johnson is +1500. The world No. 1 tees off at 5:20 a.m. ET Thursday from Royal St. George's and plays the first two rounds with Will Zalatoris and Justin Rose. For a point of comparison, the Bucks are -185 on the moneyline tonight, so if you parlayed that and Johnson at +1500 to win, it would pay a little less than $2400 on a $100 wager, so this parlay is a nicely boosted one.
The British Open was last played at Royal St. George's in Sandwich on the southeast coast of England in 2011 and Johnson finished tied for second with Phil Mickelson, three shots behind unlikely winner Darren Clarke of Northern Ireland. Johnson has two Top 10s in the tournament since then but has not come close to contention the past three British Opens (there wasn't one in 2020).
Johnson is not playing particularly well this year. Since a T8 at the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles in February, his only other Top 10 was a T10 at the one-off Palmetto Championship at Congaree in mid-June. Johnson missed the cut at the Masters and PGA Championship and was T19 at the US Open.
For a Top 10 this week, DJ is +200. To miss the cut, he's +300 -- Johnson did miss it in 2018 at Carnoustie. To make the cut, he's -450. As top American, he's a +900 second favorite behind Brooks Koepka (+800).
