What is a widget?
A widget is a little mini-application that you can put into your blog or web page.
What is the CBSSports.com Scoreboard Widget?
The CBSSports.com Scoreboard widget provides real-time scores directly to you where ever you are on the web. This widget also let's you vote on games and view the results in real time.
What can I do with this Widget?
- Vote for your favorite team - Vote for your favorite team before the game begins by clicking on the thumbs up button and view the results in real time! The vote column represents the status of your votes. The "- - " signifies that you did not vote.
If you see only a red thumbs down, after the game is over it means you voted incorrectly. If you see a green thumb up, you voted correctly.
- Scoreboard Functionality - Select the down arrow button at the top right of the widget to switch between sports scoreboards. The Scoreboard Widget displays scores for the following sports: NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB and WNBA
- Customize the look and feel of the widget - Click on the multicolor button at the top right of the widget to select a background color or add a logo image to the widget.
Where and how can I use this widget?
You can put this widget on any personal page on the web that allows you to embed widgets. You can place this widget on the following sites: Facebook, MySpace, hi5, Xanga, Pageflakes, Netvibes, iGoogle, etc.
How do I get the widget?
Click on the "Copy Me" button at the top left of the Widget. Select the site that you wish to copy the widget to and enter the required information.
