Set SEC pass completion record with 64 of 100 passes for 756 yards and five TDs. Stood out in '65 Orange Bowl game against Texas completing 18 of 37 passes for 255 yards despite playing with tightly bandaged right knee. Career stats show Namath completed 203 of 374 passes for 2,713 yards and 25 TDs. He carried 200 times for 572 yards and 15 TDs. During Namath's three-year career at Alabama, the Tide lost only three regular season games and made three bowl trips. Shoots golf in the 70s.
