Late goal lifts 10-man Red Bulls into 1-1 draw with Wizards

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (AP) -Danleigh Borman's late goal lifted the 10-man New York Red Bulls to a 1-1 tie with the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday.

Borman's second goal of the season came in the 81st minute, when he took a pass from Juan Pablo Angel and beat Wizards goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.

New York midfielder Dave van den Bergh was sent off in the 77th for a hard foul, and coach Juan Carlos Osorio was ejected with six minutes remaining.

Jimmy Conrad gave Kansas City the early lead when he scored on a header in 20th minute off a corner by Carlos Marinelli.

The Red Bulls extended their unbeaten streak to five games.

In other matches, the Columbus Crew played out a scoreless draw with Toronto FC to keep both their unbeaten streaks alive and the New England Revolution downed the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.

Kheli Dube scored for New England in just the sixth minute and San Jose's James Riley - selected from New England in the expansion draft - headed a ball into his own net in the 23rd minute to give the Revolution a win.

San Jose only had one shot on target and four overall. Taylor Twellman didn't play for New England because of an injured ankle.
