76ers report: Notes, quotes
--Sixers president Ed Stefanski said he has talked with the agents for restricted free agents Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams. But Stefanski declined to elaborate on the discussions, saying he doesn't negotiate in public. He also said he and coach Maurice Cheeks have discussed a contract extension -- Cheeks signed on for 2008-09 on Feb. 20 -- and are hopeful they'll agree to one this summer. --The Sixers sold 525 full season-ticket packages in the two days after signing free agent F Elton Brand to a five-year, $82.9 million contract. --The Sixers are paying all of Calvin Booth's $1.14 million salary for the upcoming season and more than half of Rodney Carney's $1.66 million. The Sixers traded the two players, along with a protected 2009 first-round pick from the Jazz in the Kyle Korver deal, to the Timberwolves in the move that allowed them to create the cap space to land Brand.
