Pistons report: Notes, quotes
--Point guard Chauncey Billups' streak of 96 consecutive postseason appearances was snapped when he sat out Game 4. The last time he missed a playoff game was during the 2003 conference semifinals against Philadelphia, when he was sidelined three games with a sprained ankle. --Power forward/center Antonio McDyess found out he was back in the starting lineup without any notice from his coaches. McDyess had been coming off the bench since Game 4 of the first round. He broke his nose the previous game, and coach Flip Saunders left Jason Maxiell in the lineup as the Pistons reeled off five consecutive wins. That streak ended in Game 3, when McDyess and Maxiell both went scoreless in a 111-86 loss. Rashard Lewis and Dwight Howard combined for 53 points in that game, so Saunders switched back to his best defensive frontcourt, with McDyess and Wallace trading off on the Magic's two big men.
