May 2--Series: Dallas Stars lead, 3-1
Key match-up: Sergei Zubov vs. Patrick Marleau Zubov is not full recovered from sports hernia surgery, and the Sharks have been taking advantage by getting Marleau out on the left wing against him. The speedy Marleau has skated around Zubov on several occasions and will look to do the same to keep the Sharks from playoff elimination.
Key stat: 8-0-1
The Stars are 8-0-1 in their last nine trips to HP Pavilion, including 5-0-1 this season.
Injuries Dallas: RW/C Stu Barnes (concussion-like symptoms) is a game-time decision; D Philippe Boucher (hip strain) is out.
San Jose: D Kyle McLaren (groin) is doubtful; D Brad Norton (back) is doubtful.
Notable Dallas was up 3-0 in the series and lost Game 4. Only two teams in NHL history have come back from a 3-0 deficit. ... After missing Game 4, Barnes worked out Thursday. He is expected to skate in the morning. ... Stars captain Brenden Morrow had a combined 17 hits in Games 3 and 4.
