The Penguins take advantage of a four-minute power play to keep
their quest for the Stanley Cup alive when Petr Sykora scores
9:57 into the third overtime. Detroit comes within 35 seconds of
winning the Cup, but Maxime Talbot taps in a rebound to force
sudden death. Marc-Andre Fleury finishes with 55 saves.

Henrik Zetterberg is credited with the game-winner when his shot
trickles between the pads of Marc-Andre Fleury 7:36 into the
third period. Chris Osgood makes 20 saves, including a goal-line
stop on Marian Hossa as time expires. The win gives Detroit its
11th Stanley Cup in franchise history.

Zetterberg was outstanding at both ends of the ice for the Red
Wings. He finished the playoffs tied for first in points with 27
and led the league with 13 goals, including two shorthanded
tallies and four game-winners. The Swede was a constant threat
on offense, rattling off 116 shots in the postseason -- 37 more
than any other player. Zetterberg also finished with a
league-best plus-16 rating, and finished with a negative rating
just four times. He becomes just the second European player to
capture the award.
