Game 2
Pittsburgh 2, New York 0
Jordan Staal breaks a deadlock with a power play goal at 13:55 of the second period. It is the only goal Pittsburgh needs as Marc-Andre Fleury stops 26 shots for his second shutout of the postseason. Adam Hall caps the Penguins victory by scoring an empty net goal on a clearing attempt off the boards.

Game 3
Pittsburgh 5, New York 3
Evgeni Malkin scores two power play goals, including the eventual game-winner with 2:07 left in the second period, and an assist. The Rangers fight back from a two-goal deficit on goals by Ryan Callahan and Jaromir Jagr. Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury finishes with 36 saves.

Game 4
New York 3, Pittsburgh 0
Jaromir Jagr plays a role in all three Rangers goals, scoring two and setting up another. His first goal, a wrist shot from the slot at 12:45 of the second period, holds up as the game-winner. Henrik Lundqvist makes 29 saves, including one on a penalty shot by Evgeni Malkin, for his first shutout of the postseason.

Game 5
Pittsburgh 3, New York 2 (OT)
Marian Hossa scores his second of the game 7:10 into overtime when he flicks a loose puck in the slot between Henrik Lundqvists's pads. Hossa and Evgeni Malkin give the Penguins a two-goal lead, but New York's Lauri Korpikoski and Nigel Dawes strike 82 seconds apart in the third to force sudden death.

Series MVP
Penguins C Evgeni Malkin

Malkin
The Rangers had a difficult time shutting down Malkin, who contributed four goals and three assists in the Penguins' series win. The former Calder Trophy winner provided Pittsburgh with game-winning tallies in Games 1 and 3. Even in Game 4, the only contest in which Malkin did not record a point, the center still led Pittsburgh in shots with five. With 14 points in nine games, Malkin is making a strong case for a shot at the Conn Smythe Trophy.

Expert Picks
Expert Pick Why?
Goldstein: Stopping the Pens nightly is a lot tougher than stopping the Devils.
Cimilluca: If it turns into a goal-fest, New York's D tops Pittsburgh's.
Brown: Jagr, Drury, Gomez and Lundqvist will give the young Pens a lesson in clutch.
Cercel: Jagr is no longer liked in Pittsburgh. That feeling will grow after this series.
