when he flicks a loose puck in the slot between Henrik

| Series MVP |
| Penguins C Evgeni Malkin |
 Malkin
The Rangers had a difficult time shutting down Malkin, who
contributed four goals and three assists in the Penguins' series
win. The former Calder Trophy winner provided Pittsburgh with
game-winning tallies in Games 1 and 3. Even in Game 4, the only
contest in which Malkin did not record a point, the center still
led Pittsburgh in shots with five. With 14 points in nine games,
Malkin is making a strong case for a shot at the Conn Smythe
Trophy.

Why? |
Goldstein: Stopping the Pens nightly is a lot tougher than stopping the Devils. |
Cimilluca: If it turns into a goal-fest, New York's D tops Pittsburgh's. |
Brown: Jagr, Drury, Gomez and Lundqvist will give the young Pens a lesson in clutch. |
Cercel: Jagr is no longer liked in Pittsburgh. That feeling will grow after this series. |
