If there are riots in Montreal, expect images of Umberger to be
burned in effigy. The center, who had just 13 goals during the
regular season, scored eight times and had at least one goal in
each game of the series. Of Umberger's goals, three gave the
Flyers a lead, two pulled Philadelphia into a tie and one, which
was an insurance goal at the time, turned out to be a
game-winner. His effort was just two shy of matching the
franchise record for goals in a series.
