Series MVP
Avalanche G Jose Theodore

Theodore
Thedodore, who had to fight to reclaim his starting role earlier this season, was nothing short of spectacular down the stretch for Colorado. In the Avalanche's last three games, the former Hart and Vezina Trophy winner stopped 72 of 75 shots. He held Minnesota to two goals or less in each contest, and more importantly, kept Wild leading scorer Marian Gaborik off the board.

Expert Picks
Expert Pick Why?
Goldstein: Home ice is big for a team that's great in its building.
Cimilluca: Youth vs. experience. I vote youth this series.
Brown: The Avs reunion doesn't have the same pop it did in 2001.
Cercel: An even matchup, but this is what the Avs got Forsberg for.
