Series MVP
Penguins RW Marian Hossa

Hossa
Penguins GM Ray Shero should be breathing a little easier over his decision to acquire Hossa for a hefty package at the trade deadline. With the Flyers focusing on shutting down Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby, Hossa took advantage of the added room and mismatches to lead Pittsburgh with nine points in the series. He registered multiple-point games in three of the five contests, including a four-point effort in the series clincher.

Expert Picks
Expert Pick Why?
Goldstein: March of the Penguins isn't ready to be stopped just yet.
Cimilluca: They have found ways to win in both up-tempo and defensive-minded games.
Brown: The Pens have the size to protect their stars and keep the Flyers honest.
Cercel: Fleury is good, but Biron will be better despite the Penguins' fire power.

First off, we in Philly had better prepare ourselves, as our road to the Stanley Cup is gonna go through Pittsburgh for quite some time....

This is a good team, one where it kills me that we had to lose Timonen (and Coburn) for this series...  After Biron, Kimmo was the one player we couldn't afford to lose...

Philly and Pitt are both young teams, so ...(more)

THE FLYERS WILL BE LUCKY IF THEY LAST 5 GAMES.
