Fisher to miss Penguins series: The Ottawa Citizen is reporting the Senators are expected to be shorthanded in their first-round playoff matchup against the Penguins. Head coach Bryan Murray is currently scrambling to patch up lines as Daniel Alfredsson (knee, neck, back) and Mike Fisher (knee) are not expected back until the Eastern Conference semifinals -- if they get that far -- at the earliest. "It's definitely going to be the first round that we're going to be short, and then hopefully we'll get lucky and one of them might be able to come back, but I don't know that," Murray said. (Updated 04/07/2008).
Injury Report
Knee - Probable for start of training camp (Updated - 5/10/08)
Fantasy Analysis
Fisher was at his peak in December and January when Dany Heatley was out of action, but ended the season on a slump. He had just six points in his last 29 games. Fisher managed 20 goals and 20 assists for the third straight season. He has never had more than 48 points in his career, so consider him a No. 5 or No. 6 Fantasy forward come Draft Day 2008. (Updated 04/07/2008).
