"If we go all the way this year, you might see me skating again and getting ready again," Gagne said Wednesday. "But, no, I'm not coming back. Gagne suffered his first concussion on Oct. 24 after being hit in the jaw by Panthers defenseman Jay Bouwmeester. He sat out four games, then was hurt again Nov. 7 and missed the next 26 games. He was injured again on his first shift in a Feb. 10 loss at Pittsburgh and hasn't played again. Only 26 and hopeful of a lengthy NHL career, Gagne had seven goals and 18 points in 25 games this season.
