1/07/08CC-
Ben Roethlisberger deserves tons of credit for bringing the Steelers back, but his poor play early in the game was a big reason why the Steelers fell 18 down. The defense had a good day, especially considering the way the Jaguars moved the ball on them the last time they played.
12/31/07C-B-
The Steelers rested guys, so the game didn't really matter. Ben Roethlisberger sat and Charlie Batch took too long to get going. The defense couldn't contain the Ravens running game.
12/24/07B-B-
Ben Roethlisberger was outstanding, carding a perfect passer rating. The defense had some struggles again, which has to be a concern. The loss of Willie Parker with a broken leg really dampens the victory.
12/17/07B-C-
They got pushed around on defense and it took too long to get the offense going. Ben Roethlisberger just didn't look sharp for most of the game.
12/10/07C-B
So much for the best defense slowing down the best offense. That secondary was abused. The offense couldn't keep up and made a questionable reverse call on the goal line late that was stuffed.
12/03/07BB
The defense, after an opening drive to a score, was dominant. The one concern has to be Willie Parker's fumbling troubles.
11/26/07BD
Hard to believe in those conditions that Ben Roethlisberger only threw three incomplete passes. Wow. The defense was dominant, but some of that had to do with the field.
11/19/07DB+
Both lines were handled. The offensive line really had a rough go of it. This is a loss that will sting later in the season when it comes to seeding.
11/12/07B+A
That was some big-time stuff from Ben Roethlisberger when his team fell behind. He made some clutch runs and throws. The defense tightened in the second half, too. They better cure the kickoff-coverage troubles.
11/05/07AB+
Ben Roethlisberger lit up the Ravens secondary. And then the dogs were called off. It was brutal. The defense, especially James Harrison, did its part, too.
10/29/07B+C
Ben Roethlisberger was solid, Willie Parker had a good day running it and the defense had a big forced fumble late in the game. They put a kill shot on the Bengals' chances of getting into the division race.
10/22/07CB+
Ben Roethlisberger had a nice night throwing four touchdown passes, but what happened to the defense. They came in leading the league in scoring defense, and gave up 31. Ouch.
10/08/07B+D
The running attack controlled the game and their defense was suffocating. Willie Parker and Najeh Davenport came up big without the starting receivers in the game.
10/01/07DB+
They did little after the first quarter. They got pushed around late, too. The passing game struggled in the second half.
09/24/07B+B+
Willie Parker had a big day and the Pittsburgh defense shut down the 49ers offense, especially Frank Gore. Bryant McFaddeen returned a pick for a touchdown for the Steelers as they rolled easily.
09/17/07B+A
The Steelers offense had another solid day. Willie Parker will put up a ton of yards in this new system. The defense had another good game, getting four sacks.
09/10/07A-
The Mike Tomlin era is off to a nice start. They looked dominant. Ben Roethlisberger is ready for a huge year. The defense was suffocating.
