Indianapolis organizers raise $25 million toward 2012 bid

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Organizers of Indianapolis' Super Bowl bid say local companies and individuals have pledged $25 million in hopes of luring the 2012 event to the new Lucas Oil Stadium.

NFL owners will meet in Atlanta on Tuesday to decide which city will get the game. Indianapolis is competing against Phoenix and Houston.

Lucas Oil Products Inc. owner Forrest Lucas, who paid $122 million for the naming rights to the Colts' new home, agreed to contribute $1 million.
