Moore, Henderson could get cut: The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports 2007 training camp stars Lance Moore and Devery Henderson may need to have another blistering month of practice starting in late July if they hope to make the roster. Moore is known more for his versatility than anything else. He was serviceable at wide receiver last season and lacked a spark in the return game. Saints coach Sean Payton altered his tune a couple of weeks ago by saying he'd consider keeping a roster spot open primarily for a returner. That gives Skyler Green more of a chance than originally thought and will put pressure on Moore. You might say Terrance Copper could be in the same danger as Moore, but Copper's play on the return teams could give him an edge. Henderson's speed is evident. His lack of hands is evident as well. With Robert Meachem and seventh-round pick Adrian Arrington on his tail, Henderson's future is in danger after only receiving a one-year contract in March to stay in New Orleans. Fantasy Analysis
The Saints have plenty of bodies at receiver but need someone to step up opposite Marques Colston. Right now, Meachem is the leading candidate to start, but someone from the group of Moore, Henderson, Copper and Arrington could get cut. Keep an eye on what happens. (Updated 06/16/2008).
