Crayton a fine No. 2: With Terry Glenn missing all but the final regular season game in 2007, Patrick Crayton stepped up for the Cowboys. He caught 50 balls for 697 yards and scored seven times in 15 games. Now with Glenn gone, the No. 2 job for the Cowboys is left for Crayton. His yardage total last year would have made him the lead wide receiver on Jacksonville, San Diego, Minnesota or San Francisco. His scoring total would have made him the touchdown reception leader on 14 teams. And this despite the fact that Tony Romo's first two choices Terrell Owens and tight end Jason Witten caught 177 balls. Only four teams had No. 2 wide receivers that caught balls for more yards and touchdowns than Crayton. And in all four cases New England's Wes Welker, Cincinnati's T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Arizona's Anquan Boldin and Green Bay's Greg Jennings the players came from offenses that did not feature the tight end in the passing game, reports the Dallas Morning News. (Updated 08/06/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Crayton should get around similar production this year with the Cowboys offense remaining intact. Consider Crayton a low-end No. 3 Fantasy option worth a mid-round pick in all leagues. (Updated 08/06/2008).

Start with T.O. Throw in some Pacman and Tank Johnson. Maybe sprinkle in some Jessica Simpson. But if Dallas can keep this combustible mix from imploding, this is The Team in the NFC, Mike Freeman says.
After the first few wide receivers come off the board, Fantasy owners can go in a ton of different directions to fill out the position. Our Dave Richard shares his thoughts on drafting wide receivers for 2008.
