Fantasy Analysis
This should boost Rolle's stats, making him at best a No. 3 Fantasy DB in 2008. Think of him with a late-round pick. (Updated 02/08/2008).
FS Antrel Rolle was a disappointment at cornerback. But he moved to free safety this offseason, where many NFL scouts thought he should have been playing all along. Rolle should be a perfect fit for the position. He was a bit stiff to play cornerback, and he committed too many interference and holding penalties, partly because of poor technique. But Rolle has good instincts, is a willing tackler and is studious. Those attributes should serve him well at safety. The Cardinals haven't had a playmaker at free safety for years, but Rolle could change that. As a nickel corner last year, he returned three interceptions for touchdowns. He'll continue in that role in some nickel packages this year. With Adrian Wilson at strong safety, the Cardinals could have one of the better safety tandems in the NFL. 07/17/2008
