Marshall's stats big again in 2007: Panthers CB Richard Marshall made waves as a rookie in 2006, and did it again in 2007. After placing as a top-12 Fantasy DB last season, Marshall's '07 stats were good enough to put him up there again. He finished with 89 total tackles (79 solo), a sack, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and 10 passes defensed. All of those numbers either matched or exceeded his '06 totals except for his passes defensed. (Updated 01/11/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
The most amazing stat from Marshall's second season? Five -- the number of starts he had. Buried behind Ken Lucas and Chris Gamble on the depth chart, Marshall made his bones working as a third corner for much of the year. We're still not completely sold on Marshall being a Fantasy stud (why isn't he starting?), but you can't go wrong with him as a No. 2 Fantasy DB in 2008. (Updated 01/11/2008).
