Barlow works out for Patriots: The Boston Herald, citing an NFL source, reports that RB Sammy Morris hurt a bone in his chest and will be out at least for Week 7 at Miami and could miss as much as a month. He injured the bone connecting the sternum and clavicle and left Texas Stadium in a sling and in pain. A preliminary diagnosis didn't reveal any broken bones, reports the source. The paper adds that the team hopes Laurence Maroney (groin) will be ready to play at Miami in Week 7, and that the Patriots brought in free-agent RB Kevan Barlow for a workout on Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis

Fantasy owners who have Morris should bench him for the time being. Those that have Maroney should stick to the site for the latest on him this week leading up to the game. If he plays, expect him to split reps with Kevin Faulk and Heath Evans, particularly at the goal line. If Maroney misses the game, then Faulk should see the bulk of the work at running back for the Patriots with Evans pitching in. We'll know more as the week goes on. Barlow is at best a Fantasy roster flier at this time.
