McNabb again says shoulder OK: In a recent post on the blog Yardbarker.com, Eagles QB Donovan McNabb said his ailing right shoulder is doing OK. In McNabb's words, he said, "Speaking of the Eagles, fans might be happy to know that I'm in Arizona working out with Brian Dawkins. Next week some other players will come out and we'll work together for a few days before training camp opens. I'm feeling great, the shoulder is fine, and I can't wait to get started this season." During a minicamp this offseason, McNabb was shut down from throwing because his shoulder was giving him some discomfort. (Updated 07/14/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
It appears McNabb will be fine for the 2008 season. Continue to draft him as a low-end No. 1 Fantasy option with a middle-round pick and hope he can stay healthy for a full season. Last year, McNabb passed for 3,324 yards on 291-of-473 passing with 19 touchdowns and just seven interceptions, adding 236 rush yards on 50 carries and five fumbles lost. (Updated 07/14/2008).
QB Donovan McNabb said his right shoulder, which he had experienced tightness in, feels good now. "It took rest and stretching. In this position I play, it's just repetition and continuing to throw the routes and getting that velocity back that you would throw in game speed," he said. "It's very similar to a pitcher. If I'm a pitcher throwing 25-30 pitches and all of a sudden throwing 85-90 pitches in a game, you see so many pitchers going through it now with tightness. Tightness, which is what I said, not tendinitis. It's just rest, and continuing to stay on it." 07/23/2008
