Rice to start preseason game: Ravens running back Willis McGahee is expected to miss Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots because of an ailing left knee, opening the door for rookie RB Ray Rice to start. "Right now, we need to get the fluid out of his knee and get that thing settled down a little bit," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.

Fantasy Analysis
Rice may open the season as Baltimore's No. 2 RB behind McGahee, but his versatility and speed could force the coaching staff to find ways to use him with McGahee over the course of the season. For now, plan on drafting Rice with a late-round pick in all Fantasy leagues whether you draft McGahee or not. In rookie-only drafts, Rice is worth a late-round pick.
