Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots
31The Patriots' rushing attack should have success against a Browns defense that has allowed a back to run for 100 yards in every game this season. Browns QB Derek Anderson could struggle against a Patriots defense that put heavy pressure on Carson Palmer last week.
Result: New England Patriots 34, Cleveland Browns 17
14
Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs
20Jaguars QB David Garrard, who has been very efficient with a 103.8 quarterback rating, faces a Chiefs defense that likes to use different coverages and blitzes. Chiefs RB Larry Johnson rushed for 123 yards last week and faces a Jaguars defense that has improved against the run.
Result: Jacksonville Jaguars 17, Kansas City Chiefs 7
17
Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans
24Texans RB Ron Dayne should bounce back this week against a Dolphins defense that is last in the league, giving up 199.2 rushing yards per game. Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown could struggle against a Texans defense that has not allowed an opponent to rush for more than 100 total yards.
Result: Houston Texans 22, Miami Dolphins 19
20
Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams
23Cardinals QBs Kurt Warner and Matt Leinart combined for 225 yards last week. Whoever starts should have success against a Rams defense that got burned by Patrick Crayton last week. The Rams' running game could struggle against a Cardinals defense that limited RB Willie Parker to just 37 yards on 19 carries.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 34, St. Louis Rams 31
21
Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins
24Lions QB Jon Kitna faces a tough Redskins defense with hard hitters like FS Sean Taylor and CB Fred Smoot. Redskins QB Jason Campbell has been inconsistent and could struggle against a Lions defense that came up with six sacks and three interceptions last week.
Result: Washington Redskins 34, Detroit Lions 3
23
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans
24The Titans have been effective running the ball and it's reasonable to expect more success against a Falcons defense that has struggled against the run. For the second straight week, Falcons QB Joey Harrington must stay efficient. Harrington faces a Titans defense that gives up some yards in order to limit the big plays.
Result: Tennessee Titans 20, Atlanta Falcons 13
17
Seattle Seahawks at Pittsburgh Steelers
24Steelers RB Willie Parker should rebound against a Seahawks defense that allowed Frank Gore to finish with a 4.9-yard average. RB Shaun Alexander could struggle this week against a Steelers defense that limited the Cardinals to a 3.4-yard average.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 21, Seattle Seahawks 0
16
NY Jets Jets at NY Giants Giants
23Giants RB Derrick Ward, who gained 80 yards on 19 carries last week, faces a Jets defense that limited the Bills to 86 yards on 28 carries. The Giants defense registered 12 sacks last week and will put pressure on Jets Chad Pennington who passed for 290 yards, but threw two costly picks.
Result: NY Giants Giants 35, NY Jets Jets 24
17
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
21Panthers QB David Carr should have more success this week against a Saints defense that is allowing 239.0 passing yards per game. The Saints lost RB Deuce McAllister for the rest of the season, but Reggie Bush could have success this week against a Panthers defense that allowed 189 rushing yards against Tampa Bay.
Result: New Orleans Saints 13, Carolina Panthers 16
20
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts
30Colts QB Peyton Manning faces a Buccaneers defense that put constant pressure on David Carr last week, causing three sacks and an interception. The Colts' rush defense will get tested this week against Tampa Bay, which rushed for 189 yards, even with the injury to running back Cadillac Williams.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 33, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14
17
Baltimore Ravens at San Francisco 49ers
21Ravens RB Willis McGahee has increased his production each week, but could struggle against a 49ers defense that limited Shaun Alexander to just 78 yards on 25 carries. The Ravens' defense should rebound against a 49ers offensive line that allowed six sacks, one that knocked QB Alex Smith out of the game with a separated shoulder.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 9, San Francisco 49ers 7
17
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
21Broncos RB Travis Henry had 131 yards and RB Selvin Young gained 81 yards last week. Both backs should have similar success against a Chargers defense that has problems tackling. Chargers QB Philip Rivers could struggle against a tough Broncos defense consisting of two Pro Bowl cornerbacks.
Result: San Diego Chargers 41, Denver Broncos 3
20
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
23Green Bay is winning with QB Brett Favre dropping back to pass nearly 50 times a game. Favre could have success against the Bears' injury-depleted secondary. Bears RB Cedric Benson could have success against a Packers defense that surrendered 112 rushing yards on only 12 carries by Adrian Peterson.
Result: Green Bay Packers 20, Chicago Bears 27
20
Monday, Oct. 8, 2007
Dallas Cowboys at Buffalo Bills
28Cowboys QB Tony Romo passed for 339 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams last week and should have similar success against an injury-depleted Bills' defense. The Bills will stick with the running game, using Marshawn Lynch to set up the passing game.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 25, Buffalo Bills 24

With all of the Oakland Raider off season moves, it is sure to equate into some much needed wins for this once dominate team. Whether you like them or hate them, the additions of Javon Walker and D'Angelo Hall alone will give them experience which leads to victories. The Raiders open with the Broncos at home on the opening Monday Night, that alone should tell you that the league is some what exc ...(more)

Did you know that teams who lost to the Pats were a combined 4-11 and the following week. And out of those teams, no one was able to go on the road and win after a loss to the Pats. Here is a list of teams that lost to the Pats and then lost on the road the following week: Jets, Chargers, Bengals, Colts, Bills, Jets. Now I know the Jets stink, but it does say something when no team has been abl ...(more)

Thats the silliest thing i have ever heard...Seattle was already one dimensional!!!!!!! They couldnt run the ball all year and everyone knew they would throw almost every down since its what they have been doing all year! The Giants can do both..as long as there isnt much of a wind factor i dont think the temps will make much of a difference. Game could go either way....17-13 Giants baby!

2-1-1 67% ATS last week not what we were looking for, but hey turned a profit. 18-7-2 72% last 4 weeks & 36-21-3 63% last 13 weeks.

Here are our plays for this weeks

GB -7.5

We know the trendy pick is SEA but we like GB in this spot. SEA is 6-13-1 ATS on the road & 2-2-2 ATS vs GB on the road. The last pass happy team with no running game was ARI and GB won 42-2 ...(more)

I love Romo but spending the weekend in Mexico with a piece of tail before the playoffs is not good.  This is the Cowboys biggest playoff game in over a decade and he's preparing by chilling poolside in Mexico?  My cash in on The G men!

(POLL) WHY IS ELI GETTING CREDIT?
He has gotten credit, most experts stated he had his two best games of his year the weeks before the playoffs and the first round. this made me scratch my head-they are basing on stats only. he threw screen passes at players feet, and never knows when to take of running, always hesitate.  If he actually just ran when there was an opening, he could get 5

Its a freaking machine, a computer!  Damn the ignorance of some people.  Maybe Sportsline should post a pic of the HARMON FORCAST!  It would probably come out looking something like a Dell, or Apple, or HP....  The computer is 51.2% ATS this season while the leader this season Prisco is 56.8% ATS.  How come no one is giving Ron Davis, the Producer, any grief seeing that ...(more)
