Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
34Bears QB Brian Griese will start this week against a Lions secondary that got picked apart by Donovan McNabb. The Bears' pass defense struggled last week, which is good news for Lions QB Jon Kitna, who passed for 446 yards against the Eagles last week.
Result: Detroit Lions 37, Chicago Bears 27
24
St. Louis Rams at Dallas Cowboys
31QB Tony Romo will be tested this week against a Rams defense that limited Jeff Garcia to just 151 yards on 14 of 22 passes. Rams RB Steven Jackson will miss this week with a partial tear in his left groin. RB Brian Leonard will face a Cowboys defense that completely shut down the Bears' running game last week.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 35, St. Louis Rams 7
17
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
23Last week, Ravens RB Willis McGahee rushed for 98 yards, including a 37-yard burst. McGahee should have success against a Browns defense that has trouble stopping the run. Browns QB Derek Anderson threw two interceptions after making poor reads last week and could struggle against a tough Ravens' defense.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 13, Cleveland Browns 27
19
NY Jets Jets at Buffalo Bills
19Last week, the Jets' offensive line played better than it had in the first two games. QB Chad Pennington should have more success against a Bills defense that got torched last week by Tom Brady, who completed 79.3 percent of his passes for 311 yards and four TDs. The Bills could be without QB J.P. Losman, who sprained his left knee last week and is expected to miss up to two weeks.
Result: NY Jets Jets 14, Buffalo Bills 17
16
Houston Texans at Atlanta Falcons
21Houston should have more success running the ball this week against a Falcons defense who allowed Panthers RB DeShaun Foster to rush for 122 yards and a touchdown. The Falcons, who have struggled running the ball, could struggle against a Texans defense that is allowing just 76.6 rushing yards per game.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 26, Houston Texans 16
20
Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
20The Packers had problems running the ball last week, mustering 41 yards on 12 running plays. The Packers face a Vikings defense that held Larry Johnson to 42 yards on 23 carries. The Packers' run defense will be tested this week against Rookie Adrian Peterson, who gained 102 yards on 25 carries last week.
Result: Green Bay Packers 23, Minnesota Vikings 16
17
Oakland Raiders at Miami Dolphins
19Raiders QB Josh McCown left the game last week with a foot injury, but Daunte Culpepper stepped in and completed eight of 14 passes for 118 yards. Culpepper could start against his old team, which is led by QB Trent Green, who led three long touchdown drives of 80, 76 and 90 yards, while spreading the ball around to seven receivers against the Jets.
Result: Miami Dolphins 17, Oakland Raiders 35
17
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
20Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander should have a good game against a 49ers defense that had problems stopping Willie Parker, who rushed for 133 yards on 24 carries last week. RB Frank Gore, who gained just 39 yards on 14 carries last week, could struggle against a Seahawks defense that limited Rudi Johnson to nine yards on 17 carries.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 3, Seattle Seahawks 23
19
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
20Panthers RB DeShaun Foster ran for 122 yards against the Falcons last week and should have similar success against a Buccaneers defense that allowed 115 rushing yards by Steven Jackson. The Bucs' rushing attack will be tested this week against a Panthers defense that limited the Falcons to 91 rushing yards.
Result: Carolina Panthers 7, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20
16
Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers
27Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson should rebound this week against a Chiefs defense that got run over by Adrian Peterson, who had runs of 16, 11, 12 and 14 yards last week. Chiefs QB Damon Huard could have success against a Chargers defense that got torched by Brett Favre, who passed for 369 yards with three touchdowns and no picks.
Result: San Diego Chargers 16, Kansas City Chiefs 30
14
Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts
29Colts RB Joseph Addai, who rushed for just 72 yards last week, should have more success against a Broncos defense that got pushed around left week. The Broncos were ineffective running the ball last week and could struggle against a Colts defense that limited Houston to just 40 yards on the ground.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 38, Denver Broncos 20
19
Pittsburgh Steelers at Arizona Cardinals
23Last week, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger completed 13 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown. The Steelers' offense should continue its success against a Cardinals defense that gives up too many big plays. The Cardinals could fall behind early and be forced to abandoned the run.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 14, Arizona Cardinals 21
16
Philadelphia Eagles at NY Giants Giants
24Eagles QB Donovan McNabb turned in one of the best performances of his career last week, with a 158.3 passer rating. McNabb could have success against an injured Giants defense. Giants QB Eli Manning hopes to take advantage of the Eagles' secondary, which gave up 314 passing yards without Lito Sheppard and Brian Dawkins.
Result: Philadelphia Eagles 3, NY Giants Giants 16
21
Monday, Oct. 1, 2007
New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals
30The Bengals had two interceptions last week, but couldn't stop Seattle's passing game. The Bengals' defense could struggle against Patriots QB Tom Brady, who has completed nearly 80 percent of his passes. Bengals QB Carson Palmer, who completed 27-of-43 passes for 342 yards, could struggle this week against a tough Patriots defense.
Result: New England Patriots 34, Cincinnati Bengals 13

With all of the Oakland Raider off season moves, it is sure to equate into some much needed wins for this once dominate team. Whether you like them or hate them, the additions of Javon Walker and D'Angelo Hall alone will give them experience which leads to victories. The Raiders open with the Broncos at home on the opening Monday Night, that alone should tell you that the league is some what exc ...(more)

Did you know that teams who lost to the Pats were a combined 4-11 and the following week. And out of those teams, no one was able to go on the road and win after a loss to the Pats. Here is a list of teams that lost to the Pats and then lost on the road the following week: Jets, Chargers, Bengals, Colts, Bills, Jets. Now I know the Jets stink, but it does say something when no team has been abl ...(more)

Thats the silliest thing i have ever heard...Seattle was already one dimensional!!!!!!! They couldnt run the ball all year and everyone knew they would throw almost every down since its what they have been doing all year! The Giants can do both..as long as there isnt much of a wind factor i dont think the temps will make much of a difference. Game could go either way....17-13 Giants baby!

2-1-1 67% ATS last week not what we were looking for, but hey turned a profit. 18-7-2 72% last 4 weeks & 36-21-3 63% last 13 weeks.

Here are our plays for this weeks

GB -7.5

We know the trendy pick is SEA but we like GB in this spot. SEA is 6-13-1 ATS on the road & 2-2-2 ATS vs GB on the road. The last pass happy team with no running game was ARI and GB won 42-2 ...(more)

I love Romo but spending the weekend in Mexico with a piece of tail before the playoffs is not good.  This is the Cowboys biggest playoff game in over a decade and he's preparing by chilling poolside in Mexico?  My cash in on The G men!

(POLL) WHY IS ELI GETTING CREDIT?
He has gotten credit, most experts stated he had his two best games of his year the weeks before the playoffs and the first round. this made me scratch my head-they are basing on stats only. he threw screen passes at players feet, and never knows when to take of running, always hesitate.  If he actually just ran when there was an opening, he could get 5

Its a freaking machine, a computer!  Damn the ignorance of some people.  Maybe Sportsline should post a pic of the HARMON FORCAST!  It would probably come out looking something like a Dell, or Apple, or HP....  The computer is 51.2% ATS this season while the leader this season Prisco is 56.8% ATS.  How come no one is giving Ron Davis, the Producer, any grief seeing that ...(more)
