St. Louis Rams at New Orleans Saints
28For the second consecutive week, the Saints showed why they led the NFL in passing yards last season. Drew Brees passed for 445 yards with three touchdowns and should have success against a Rams defense that struggles against the pass. Rams QB Marc Bulger and Gus Frerotte have combined for a 58.4 passer rating and could struggle against a Saints defense that intercepted three passes last week.
Result: New Orleans Saints 29, St. Louis Rams 37
17
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
20Bills QB J.P. Losman returned to the starting lineup last week and passed for 295 yards with one TD and one interception. Losman should have success against a Dolphins defense that has given up 15 passing touchdowns this season. The Dolphins are averaging 5.0 rushing yards per carry, second best in the NFL behind the Vikings. Miami's running game could struggle against a Bills defense that held the Bengals to a mere 28 rushing yards.
Result: Buffalo Bills 13, Miami Dolphins 10
19
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
19The Chiefs managed only 61 rushing yards and a 2.8-yard average last week, but should have more success against a Broncos defense that allowed 130 yards and 4.5 yards per attempt on the ground. Broncos RB Travis Henry had 9 yards on eight carries last week because of the offensive line, which has struggled due to injuries. The Broncos' rushing attack will be tested against a tough Chiefs defense.
Result: Kansas City Chiefs 11, Denver Broncos 27
17
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
21Packers QB Brett Favre, who passed for 360 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions last week, could struggle against a Vikings defense that had one of its best games of the season and surrendered only 197 passing yards. Vikings RB Adrian Peterson rushed for an NFL single-game record 296 yards with three touchdowns last week. Peterson will test a Packers defense that controlled the line of scrimmage between the tackles and held Larry Johnson to 2.8 yards per carry.
Result: Green Bay Packers 34, Minnesota Vikings 0
17
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers
19Last week, Panthers QB David Carr was sacked seven times and passed for only 107 yards with a QB rating of 61.8. Carr could struggle against a Falcons defense that forced Alex Smith to throw three interceptions. The Falcons rushed for over 100 yards for just the second time this season and faces a Panthers defense that allowed 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Result: Carolina Panthers 13, Atlanta Falcons 20
16
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins
21Redskins RB Clinton Portis gained 196 rushing yards on 36 carries and should have similar success against an Eagles defense that has struggled against the run. Eagles QB Donovan McNabb turned the ball over twice in the first half last week, but should have more success against a Redskins defense that allowed Kellen Clemens to pass for 226 yards and a touchdown.
Result: Washington Redskins 25, Philadelphia Eagles 33
20
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
20Last week, Titans RB LenDale White got his third 100-yard game in a row and could have similar success against a Jaguars defense that allowed Reggie Bush to rush for 72 yards on 17 carries. Jaguars QB Quinn Gray threw for 354 yards, but also had three interceptions. The Jaguars' passing game could struggle against a Titans defense that had seven sacks, while limiting WR Steve Smith to just three catches for 15 yards.
Result: Tennessee Titans 13, Jacksonville Jaguars 28
19
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers
30Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, who injured his ankle, had the second perfect passer rating of his career at 158.3 last week, but will have to be patient against a Browns defense that gives up short routes to protect against the big plays. Browns QB Derek Anderson didn't throw a touchdown for the first time this season, but still passed for 364 yards. Anderson could struggle against a Steelers defense that sacked Steve McNair five times and forced an interception, before he was pulled from the game.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 31, Cleveland Browns 28
17
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
23Last week, Ravens RB Willis McGahee ran for 50 yards on 12 carries and broke a 33-yard run for a touchdown. McGahee should have more success against a Bengals defense that gave up 153 rushing yards on 29 carries to RB Marshawn Lynch. The Bengals rushed for just 28 yards on 17 carries and faces a Ravens defense that swarms to the ball and held Willie Parker to just 42 yards on 23 carries.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 7, Cincinnati Bengals 21
19
Chicago Bears at Oakland Raiders
19Bears QB Brian Griese has moved the offense through the air at times, but he's also been intercepted 10 times in five starts. Griese could struggle against the Raiders' defense, which ranks forth in the league against the pass. The Raiders got their running game back on track with 153 yards on 33 carries and will attack a Bears defense that has been gashed repeatedly, including the 311 rushing yards allowed in Week 6.
Result: Chicago Bears 17, Oakland Raiders 6
17
Dallas Cowboys at NY Giants Giants
28Cowboys QB Tony Romo completed 20 of 25 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns last week, but could struggle against a Giants defense that leads the league with 30 sacks. Giants QB Eli Manning is on pace for 26 TD passes, which would be a career high. Manning faces a Cowboys defense that sacked Donovan McNabb three times and forced two interceptions.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 31, NY Giants Giants 20
24
Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals
24Last week, Cardinals RB Edgerrin James gained just 15 yards on nine carries. James could struggle against a Lions defense that held RB Travis Henry to only 9 yards on eight carries, with the exception of his 22-yard run. Lions QB Jon Kitna passed for 252 yards with two touchdowns and will test a Cardinals defense that pressured Jeff Garcia and allowed just one big play through the air.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 31, Detroit Lions 21
20
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers
26Colts RB Joseph Addai rushed for 112 yards on 26 carries and should have similar success against a Chargers defense that allowed RB Adrian Peterson to rush for an NFL-record 296 yards. Chargers QB Philip Rivers completed just 19 of 42 passes for 197 yards, with an interception. Rivers could struggle against a Colts defense that sacked Tom Brady twice, pressured him four other times and intercepted two of his passes.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 21, San Diego Chargers 23

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
26Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck passed for 318 yards and two touchdowns last week, but could struggle against a 49ers defense that held the Falcons to just 131 passing yards. 49ers QB Alex Smith had another poor performance last week with a 22.8 passer rating, but should rebound against a Seahawks defense that allowed Browns QB Derek Anderson to pass for a career-high 364 yards.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 24, San Francisco 49ers 0

With all of the Oakland Raider off season moves, it is sure to equate into some much needed wins for this once dominate team. Whether you like them or hate them, the additions of Javon Walker and D'Angelo Hall alone will give them experience which leads to victories. The Raiders open with the Broncos at home on the opening Monday Night, that alone should tell you that the league is some what exc ...(more)

Did you know that teams who lost to the Pats were a combined 4-11 and the following week. And out of those teams, no one was able to go on the road and win after a loss to the Pats. Here is a list of teams that lost to the Pats and then lost on the road the following week: Jets, Chargers, Bengals, Colts, Bills, Jets. Now I know the Jets stink, but it does say something when no team has been abl ...(more)

Thats the silliest thing i have ever heard...Seattle was already one dimensional!!!!!!! They couldnt run the ball all year and everyone knew they would throw almost every down since its what they have been doing all year! The Giants can do both..as long as there isnt much of a wind factor i dont think the temps will make much of a difference. Game could go either way....17-13 Giants baby!

2-1-1 67% ATS last week not what we were looking for, but hey turned a profit. 18-7-2 72% last 4 weeks & 36-21-3 63% last 13 weeks.

Here are our plays for this weeks

GB -7.5

We know the trendy pick is SEA but we like GB in this spot. SEA is 6-13-1 ATS on the road & 2-2-2 ATS vs GB on the road. The last pass happy team with no running game was ARI and GB won 42-2 ...(more)

I love Romo but spending the weekend in Mexico with a piece of tail before the playoffs is not good.  This is the Cowboys biggest playoff game in over a decade and he's preparing by chilling poolside in Mexico?  My cash in on The G men!

(POLL) WHY IS ELI GETTING CREDIT?
He has gotten credit, most experts stated he had his two best games of his year the weeks before the playoffs and the first round. this made me scratch my head-they are basing on stats only. he threw screen passes at players feet, and never knows when to take of running, always hesitate.  If he actually just ran when there was an opening, he could get 5

Its a freaking machine, a computer!  Damn the ignorance of some people.  Maybe Sportsline should post a pic of the HARMON FORCAST!  It would probably come out looking something like a Dell, or Apple, or HP....  The computer is 51.2% ATS this season while the leader this season Prisco is 56.8% ATS.  How come no one is giving Ron Davis, the Producer, any grief seeing that ...(more)
