GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -Donnita Drain was hired as Grambling State's women's basketball coach on Wednesday.

Drain is the reigning two-time Women's Basketball Coaches Association Region III Coach of the Year.

Drain's hiring is pending approval from the university's Board of Supervisors.
