--While he's done a little checking around, Knicks president Donnie Walsh is not finding a market for Zach Randolph, whose heavy contract and bad habits are not helping the situation. And really, there's no rush. The last thing Walsh is going to do is accept bad contracts in return or give away draft picks to close a deal, so it's possible the oversized forward will be coming back next season.

--Allan Houston is talking comeback again. He indicated recently his agent is gauging interest, and Knicks president Donnie Walsh might want to take a look. The 37-year-old attempted to catch up with the Knicks midway through camp last season, but cut the comeback short when it was clear he was not quite ready to play and not wanted by Isiah Thomas.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"My dad gave me that (when I was) young. I don't know why; long story, I guess. My friends, everybody calls me that. Nobody calls me Anthony." -- Newest Knick Anthony Roberson, on the origin of his nickname, "Peep."
