If the Sonics leave Seattle as expected, at least the fans got to see the rookie of the year in Kevin Durant. His summer goal is to gain weight and learn how to rebound since the 6-foot-9 forward only averaged 4.3 boards this season.

You already knew what Kevin Durant was capable of. But Jeff Green dropping 35 points on Denver was a revelation.

Now 1-3 on a current seven-game homestand: An inadequate goodbye to Seattle.

With the Sonics in the midst of a seven-game homestand, fans have a chance to say goodbye.

Kevin Durant used the Rookie Challenge to demonstrate how much farther along he is than his peers, looking far superior despite being the youngest of his group. His development is something we'll look back on nostalgically when he reaches an elite level.

Mickael Gelabale got regular work with Seattle's D-League affiliate and is said to be in line for playing time upon his return. But that action might not come with the Sonics; Phoenix GM Steve Kerr mentioned Gelabale as a player he wouldn't mind adding.
