Portland can start counting down the days until Greg Oden takes the court. He will form a nice tandem with Brandon Roy, who improved his points, rebounds and assists this year.
04/08/20081817
This has been a positive, eye-opening season in Portland, but this young team appears to have run out of gas.
04/01/20081716
With a tough stretch of games and no Brandon Roy, Portland will slip below .500.
03/25/20081615
With 11 games left, finishing up strong would mean a lot to this young team.
03/18/20081515
Portland hasn't beaten a team with a winning record since Feb. 29 vs. the Lakers.
03/11/20081515
For the rest of the month, Portland has only two games against teams with winning records. The Blazers must capitalize.
03/04/20081515
Three-point marksman James Jones is back, and not a moment too soon.
02/26/20081515
James Jones can't return soon enough. The Blazers are 22-12 with Jones in the lineup, 7-15 without him.
02/19/20081515
Brandon Roy did a nice job juggling the responsibilities of being the focal point in the Rookie-Sophomore game and the newbie in Sunday's main event. He guaranteed a victory over the first-year players when he heard Toronto's Jamario Moon had done the same, backed it up and then came back with an efficiently strong effort against the big boys.
02/12/20081515
Losing James Jones for roughly a month longer than was originally anticipated is devastating for a team that needs all hands on deck to compete with the big dogs on the West block. For now, Portland will try and survive without its most accurate 3-point shooter.
