The Bulls have to decide on a coach and the future of Luol Deng and Ben Gordon. The only good thing for Chicago this year was the extra playing time for Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas, which should help in their development.
04/08/20082222
Ben Gordon will be a restricted free agent this summer, so he might be facing his final six games as a Bull.
04/01/20082222
Joakim Noah is making the most of his opportunities, averaging 12.6 points and 8.8 rebounds in the past five games.

Ben Wallace for Larry Hughes looks like a case of simply swapping bloated contracts. And, in fact, it kind of was. But let's see if Hughes -- gone from Cleveland, where he was miscast as a spot-up shooter -- can recapture some of the form he showed for Washington in 2004-05.

Joakim Noah didn't make the strongest of first impressions, but it's on him to rebound well and take advantage of the time of year where he usually plays his best. He must avoid falling into the same rollercoaster-type pitfalls that have sabotaged Tyrus Thomas to date.
02/12/20082120
Jim Boylan continues to poke and prod to try and get some life out of his Bulls, knowing his coaching future might be tied to getting his team to the playoffs. Give him credit for this: He pulls no punches and has handled various combustible situations like a veteran.
